He was the vice-head of Housen during Narumi Taiga's reign.
At first, he did not believed in the leadership of Narumi and thus, he formed a faction along with Shibayama Hayato to overtake Narumi's position as the head of Housen.
However, after he was beaten by Narumi, he started to trust him and follow his order.
