Genba was a crucial member of the Front during the days of Kousei.

History

Kajiya Mid

He and Inada Genji pleaded to be members of the Armament as middle schoolers.

When the ceasefire agreement was broken by Kyouya, he, Genji and Kousei took matter into their own hands (disregarding Juuzou's orders). The 3 of them beat 8 of Kyouya's guys half to death. They were then jumped by 13 or more Kyouya members.

The next day, Ryuushin allowed the trio to join the Front.

TFOA

After Ryuushin retired, he named Takeda Kousei the new leader, and all old members retired with him, leaving the three alone to take care of the 5th generation. Hyakki, thinking they were weak, went with 20 or 30 members to smash them, but they couldn't finish the Armament.

During the 5th Generation's first year, Genba was attacked by Kai Yasunori  subsequently after the thief got destroyed by Suzuran's Iwashiro Gunji.

Genba retired along with the rest of his generation upon discovering Kousei would need brain surgery.
