Following his release from juvenile detention, Fujiwara found an ally in Naraoka Seiji and joined the ranks of Ootsu-Gumi. Under Seiji's guidance, Fujiwara was motivated by a determination to lead the Original Death Apache gang. Their aim was to stir up chaos, creating problems that would ultimately enable Seiji to acquire the land belonging to Nakata Auto Car Dealership.
